Do I need to install anything or get API keys?
No. Clip Hero runs entirely in your browser, on your computer or your phone. All the heavy editing happens on our servers.
Is it safe to connect my YouTube channel?
You connect through Google's own sign-in screen, so we never see your password. Clip Hero can only upload Shorts, and you can disconnect it at any time from the Channel page or your Google account.
Will it post things without asking me?
Only if you want it to. Approvals are on by default: every new Short waits for your tap before it goes live. Switch approvals off when you trust it.
What kind of videos does it make?
Podcast and streamer clips, faceless story videos, Top 5 countdowns, remakes of moments that are going viral, and anything you ask for in Create.
Whose content do you clip?
Your own channel, or public channels you choose. You are responsible for having the right to post clips of other creators. Many creators welcome clipping, and we credit sources in every description.
